“Spatial Cognition is concerned with the acquisition, development, representation, organization, and use of knowledge about spatial objects in real, virtual or hybrid environments and processed by human or artificial agents. Spatial Cognition includes research from fields such as cognitive and developmental psychology, linguistics, computer science, geography, cartography, philosophy, neuroscience, and education. SC2024 is supported by SellSTEM whose research theme is spatial ability in STEM learning. Therefore, submissions are also welcome that explore issues such as the role of spatial ability in STEM learning across all age groups, spatial ability development separate to or integrated with STEM, professional development for teachers to enhance spatial ability development in formal and informal learning environments and curriculum design and policy to promote spatial ability development”
