Which Fish Fits?

About this study

In this study, your child will be asked to pay attention to videos explaining instructions for a matching game, then play a matching game, and lastly your child will be asked to explain how they picked their answer in the matching game. This study is completely asynchronous.

FAQs

What does participation involve?

This study consists of an approximately 15 minute session where your child will be shown puzzles and asked questions about them. You will also be asked to answer some questions about your child. This study can take place on entirely your own timeline.

Who can participate?

This study is for 4.5-to-6-year-old children who speak English.

I am not located near Northwestern University. Can my child and I still participate?

Yes! This study is entirely virtual, so you can be located anywhere in the United States to participate.

Will there be compensation for participating?

Yes! Families will be compensated with a $5 virtual gift card
